The Chevrolet Bow Tie is a Trademark that has been in the Automobile scene since 1912. How the Trademark was decided have two stories. One offered quickly by Billy Durant, “I took it off of some wallpaper I saw in a Paris hotel.” Another story came from the widow of Mr. Durant, Katherine, who stated he was reading a paper and saw an ad that he liked and decided to change it for his new company, Chevrolet. Then while doing research for Chevrolet, Ken Kaufmann found the ad was located in The Constitution which show more proof to this story. Since that time the Chevrolet and General Motors Companies have been making vehicles that have move us around the world for 100 years. They are working on doing so for the next 100.
